Ladies and Gentlemen,![]() Today we are happy to inform you that we could enforce our team last month, particularly in the field of quality management. For our Quality Management Department we found in the person of Mrs. Frau Cornelia Kranz a highly qualified member of staff. Mrs. Kranz acquired the experience of several years in fundamental research, amongst others with respect to the raw material Agar Agar. In the time before, Mrs. Kranz was active in research & development of foods and food ingredients, particularly in the range of stabilizing systems. She finished her studies of oecotrophology in Kiel with the certificate of a Master of Science degree. Food technology and the science of nutrition were the center points of her studies. Her earlier education as chemical laboratory assistant complete her profile. Thus, we can attend to the requirements of our customers more intensely as before and can give special assistance for the use of our hydroclloids! We are very happy about this re-enforcement of our team, and wish Mrs. Kranz all the very best and a lot of success within our enterprise! Additionally we would like to give you a short update on our main products: Agar Agar We suggest you to cover your needs for 2010 in time as we expect the raw material prices to increase further. Due to the earthquake in Chile, a minor crop in Indonesia and the increasing demand for seaweeds the prices for those have already increased by 25 %. Guar Gum Speculators at NCDEX have turned to other raw materials, which calsm the price movement of Guar splits. Also the low demand for Guar Gum makes the prices stay stable. We expect this situation tolast for the next 1-2 months. Locust Bean Gum The prices for LBG still are on the lowest level we faced in the last years also due to the slow demand of the European markets. They are not expected to decrease further, but might rise again when kibblers have to sell their old stocks of splits. Xanthan Gum Also the prices of Xanthan Gum stay at the low level we had for the last weeks. As we do not face high season so far, the prices are expetced to be stable in short term and coverage of demands can be suggested. A2 Trading Ltd. wishes you Happy Easter ! ![]() |
