 Dear Business Partner,we would like to take this opportunity to comment on the incidents which occurred recently in China- such as the adulteration of milk and pet foods with melamine, which very much shocked us. We, the Wu family, many years ago returned from Taiwan to mainland China, in order to build a production facility for food and pharmaceutical grade agars. From the very start, our mission has always been to manufacture only the best qualities of agar. We are aware of several competitors in the market offering agar of lesser qualities at incomprehensible lower prices. We suspect that these companies will not survive the new world economic crisis, nor will be able to meet the environmental regulations forthcoming from the Chinese government. Our factory is both ISO and HACCP certified, our products are Kosher and Halal certified while each lot is assayed and certified to meet or exceed the requirements of the Food Chemical Codex . Over the years, we invested millions to ensure that our production facility continues to be “state-of-art”. We have recently installed sophisticated automatic filter presses and, as well a new purification plant. We believe with the capital investments made so far, we are in the position to meet the new environmental laws, while at the same time, reducing our energy requirements in production. We feel comfortable in knowing that we have invested for the future. Only the best qualities of raw algae are good enough to be processed into Agar in our facilities; no foreign ingredients or chemicals are added, and furthermore we can guarantee that there are no chemicals stored on site that could accidentally contaminate and thus pose a threat to the integrity of our agar products.
