 With immidiate effect A2 Trading took over the Exlusive Sales Agency in Europe, Russia and North America (i.e. USA and Canada) for the producers of Agar-Agar, Huey Shyang Seaweed ! A personal bond between the proprietor’s family Wu and our Managing Director Mirko Ahrens grew up almost 10 years ago, when Mr. Ahrens was travelling frequently to China, acting within the scope of his duties to his former company. Over that period Huey Shyang Seaweed became one of the biggest and most eficient producing enterprises of Agar in Asia. As before, for the production no raw algae with origin in China are used, but exclusively Gracilaria algae imported from Chile and Indonesia – this being certainly one of the reasons why well-known international producers of foodstuffs and/or confectionary chose us as their suppliers. We guarantee standardised quality and Food Grade only; those we can offer with various Gel Strengths, ranging from 500 to 1200 g/cm2 , which are diagnosed solely be the NIKKAN Method; the production is effected in accordance with the regulations of ISO, HACCP and Kosher. Due to the growing demand for Agar-Agar (along with the traditional application in confectionary goes nowadays also the addition to a diversity of dietary supplements of this commodity) prices show a rather firm tendency. In order to avoid any future increase of prices , we recommend conclusion of contracts “on call” (if possible until the end of 2007) at the presently valid fixed prices.
